- Dependent on others for sense of self
- Views own problems as someone else's fault
- May be of above-average intelligence

Common Stalking Behaviors
- Mailing or delivering cards or other cryptic messages to victim
- Presenting or leaving other objects such as flowers or mementos on victim's doorstep or at victim's workplace
- Breaking windows, breaking into or vandalizing victim's home or vehicle
- Vandalizing other property belonging to victim; destroying property to scare or intimidate victim
- Stealing from victim
- Transferring, intercepting, or taking victim's mail
- Watching victim from a distance; surveillance of victim's home or workplace
- Following victim on foot or in vehicle
- Hang up telephone calls
- Harassing telephone calls, notes, faxes, emails, or text messages
- Filing numerous pleadings in court cases
- Filing for custody of the children regardless of their needs
- Not respecting visitation limitations
- Not respecting other personal/privacy boundaries established by victim
- Violation of protective orders
- Willful and repeated violations of other court orders
- Attempts to financially control victim
- Obtaining victim's credit card and other financial information (credit card theft, fraud)
- Identity theft of victim
- Assault and/or battery on victim
