Child molester receives 80-year prison term
A man convicted last week in Caddo District Court of several sex crimes involving juveniles was sentenced Thursday, Sept. 22, to 80 years in prison in three separate terms to be served consecutively.
Terry Matthew Pittman, 35, of Keithville, was sentenced by Caddo District Judge Katherine C. Dorroh to 60 years, 25 of which must be served without benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence, for molestation of a juvenile under 13. He was sentenced to an additional 15 years for possessing child pornography and a final five years for indecent behavior with juveniles.
The charges stemmed from a 2014 case in which he was charged with having sex with a female relative for years as well as possessing child pornography.
Prosecutors were Treneisha Hill and Joshua Williams. Pittman was defended by Stephen Glassell.
