A Shreveport teen admitted to a Caddo Juvenile Court judge Tuesday, February 5, 2019, that he committed an armed robbery in late December.

Jeremiah Jamar Foster, 16, had been charged with beating and robbing the victim at knifepoint near the Family Dollar Store at 3309 Bert Kouns Industrial Loop in Shreveport on December 28, 2018.  Foster was adjudicated as delinquent in Division C and Judge Ree Casey Jones sentenced him to serve a sentence of juvenile life in the custody of the Office of Juvenile Justice.

Louisiana Children’s Code article 879 provides that all proceedings in a juvenile delinquency case involving a crime of violence must be open to the public.

Foster was prosecuted by Caddo Parish Assistant District Attorney Daphne R. Robinson. He was defended by William Eades.
