The Caddo Parish Coroner’s office has named a man shot and mortally wounded late Sunday, September 1, 2019, in the Stoner Hill neighborhood.
Sherman E. Rambo Jr., 42, of the 1100 block of Pecan Street, was shot in the back in the 300 block of East Stoner Avenue around 7:50 p.m. He was transported to Ochsner LSU Health hospital where he was pronounced dead at 8:39 p.m.
An autopsy has been ordered at Ochsner LSU Health.
Rambo was positively identified though fingerprint comparison.
The slaying remains under investigation by the Shreveport Police Department, to which media should direct further questions.
