The Grand Jury also returned true bills against two people named only as John Doe and Jane Doe, with no other details provided. This was done as these individuals have not yet been apprehended.
The indictments for John Doe and Antonio Taylor have been issued under seal due to the nature of the charges.
The Grand Jury also returned a No True Bill against rapper Michael Lawrence Tyler, who performs and records under the name Mystikal. He originally was arrested in 2017 on a charge of first-degree rape. A Grand Jury in 2017 returned an indictment against Mr. Tyler for one count of first-degree rape and one count of second-degree kidnapping. However, additional evidence and information were discovered and the case was resubmitted to this second Grand Jury in the interest of justice. Based on the Grand Jury’s decision, the Caddo Parish District Attorney’s Office will dismiss the charges pending against Mr. Tyler.
