A Shreveport man accused of raping two underaged children pleaded guilty in Caddo District Court on Thursday, April 11, 2024.
Kyson Lee, 18 pleaded guilty to two counts of second degree rape. The two victims, an 8-year old, and a 5-year old at the time of the assaults, reported the incidents to their grandmother. An investigation uncovered that Lee assaulted the children multiple times.
During a post-Miranda interview, Lee confessed and wrote an apology letter to the victims. Caddo District Judge Ramona Emmanuel sentenced Lee to 40 years of hard labor without the benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence. Lee must register as a sex offender for life.
The case was prosecuted by Asistant District Attorney Brittany Arvie. The defendant was represented by Attorney Royal Alexander.
