National Crime Victims’ Right Week runs through Saturday, April 12, 2025. The Caddo Parish District Attorney’s office, along with the Caddo/Bossier Domestic Violence Tack Force, is highlighting the local observance with a ceremony and outreach event Thursday, April 10, 2025, designed to connect victims and survivors of crime with needed resources, services and support.

The event will be from 4 to 6 p.m. at the North Louisiana Crime Lab, 1630 Tulane Ave. The theme is “Kinship Connection and Healing.” Caddo District Attorney James E. Stewart Sr. will proclaim it as National Crime Victims’ Rights Day. Information sessions will follow.

Participants will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from various organizations and agencies offering help. Staff from the Louisiana Board of Pardons and the Committee on Parole, along with representatives of the Caddo Parish DA’s Office Victim’s Assistance Program, will be on hand to answer general questions and provide information.
