Caddo DA Stewart to present Christmas bicycles

Continuing a tradition that dates to the start of his tenure in office, Caddo Parish District Attorney James E. Stewart Sr. again will present hundreds of deserving parish students with new bicycles in time for Christmas.

“It’s with great joy we continue our bicycle give-away," DA Stewart said. "Thanks to all the DA helpers and sponsors who were willing to donate so that children will have something extra under the tree this year.”

Kindergarten students will benefit this year as DA Stewart will give more than 200 bicycles to among the parish's youngest public school students.

First, he will give 157 bikes to kindergarten students at Walnut Hill Elementary School, 9360 Woolworth Road, on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 8:30 a.m. Then that same day, at 1:30 p.m. he will play Santa with 90 bikes to kindergarten students at J.S. Clark Elementary, 351 Hearne Avenue.

The bicycle presentations are one of the ways the office gives back to the community, spreading Christmas cheer.
