The Caddo Parish District Attorney’s office has a new partner in its annual Purple Box Project.

Orr BMW of Shreveport has stepped up with a new twist on the community initiative to provide essential supplies and comfort to survivors of domestic violence and their families.

The dealership is asking the community to bring goods to help fill a car with the everyday necessities to help families facing difficult circumstances.

People can bring personal hygiene products, socks, underwear, diapers, baby wipes or other basic necessities to the Orr BMW of Shreveport dealership at 7561 E. Kings Highway.  Churches, businesses, groups and individuals can make their own boxes and deliver them or have them picked up.

Donated items will be distributed to domestic violence survivors and their families through community partners, including Providence House, Project Celebration, and the Northwest Louisiana Family Justice Center.

The Purple Box Project, now in its sixth year, ends November 16, 2026.

For more information or to arrange a pickup, contact Britney A. Green at (318) 588-0084.
